The Tropical America Katoomba Group focuses on strengthening multi sector participation in Payment for Ecosystem Services in the countries of Latin America, as well as facilitating participation from the region in international discussions and events. Our initiatives, activities and gatherings aim to improve the use of the PES tool by fostering interactions amongst network participants and building their knowledge base.

1. We support project developers and investors via our Katoomba Ecosystem Services Incubator to develop model transactions.
2. We provide advice and research on governance issues and institutions pertaining to public sector programs nad laws and to private contractng needs.
3. We support the development and use of innovative methodologies and PES models on which our network partners are working.
